Gained assessor qualifications on Assessing D32 D33 and Internal verifiers Qualifications in Training and had a number of years in a training and human resource environment.
Developed an interest in Court procedures and specialised in information and evidence gathering, surveillance and absconder tracing for court prosecutions on a commercial basis.

Established Castle Security in 1992 and now actively involved with the community, Chairman Crimestoppers Highlands, Chairman of Inverness Crime Prevention Panel, Director / Patron - Inverness Chamber of Commerce, Director of Inverness City Centre Management, member of the Inverness Drug and Alcohol Forum and Safe-Inverness.

Director of Operations - Norman MacLeod
An important member of the management team with vast experience of policing during 34 yrs Police Service rising to rank of Detective Superintendent and Area Commander.

A wide experience of Royalty & VIP protection duties and Criminal Investigation including Special Branch and security related matters.

After retirement from the constabulary in 2002 he joined Castle Group where as Director of Operations he has specific responsibilities for Security Survey Reports; Risk Assessments, Contracts; and staff disciplinary matters.
He also trains staff in Conflict Management, General Guarding and Patrol duties; CCTV Management and Door Supervision
